Primary 3: Course Introduction

The Primary 3 Course Curriculum at ICT Click Digital Media provides a robust foundation in computing,  covering essential topics such as:


Digital Citizenship: Students explore responsible technology use, online safety, and the importance of building a positive digital footprint.

      • Understanding online responsibilities and behavior.
      • Exploring the concept of Rings of Responsibility.
      • Identifying examples of online responsibilities to others.
Google Slides: They learn to create engaging and informative presentations, mastering slide design, text formatting, and the integration of multimedia elements.
      • Introduction to Google Slides and its similarities/differences with MS PowerPoint.
      • Inserting text boxes and images in Google Slides.
      • Adding animations and transitions to presentations.
      • Collaborating on Google Slides presentations.
Google Maps/Earth: Students delve into the world of virtual mapping. They'll use these tools to navigate, explore geographic features, and build an understanding of spatial concepts.
      • Introduction to Google Maps and Google Earth.
      • Learning how to use zooming, panning, and changing views.
      • Locating famous places around the world and creating presentations using Google Maps/Earth.
Scratch Coding: Students are introduced to the fundamentals of coding through Scratch, a visual programming language. They'll create simple animations and interactive projects, developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
      • Introduction to block-based programming.
      • Exploring the Scratch environment and tools.
      • Creating simple animations and programs in Scratch.
      • Understanding x and y coordinates in Scratch.
